You can't truly connect with your teen if you do not understand the world they're growing up in. Their world is very different from the one we grew up in! Our Parent Handbook is a great way to get up to speed on major issues that your teen is facing. The handbook is revised regularly to provide the most current and correct information.

Parenting teenagers can be completely overwhelming at times, especially when you feel isolated or alone! We have developed a Small Group Program which is giving parents the unique opportunity to come together and encourage one another as they participate in a variety of parenting classes. These classes help build new techniques, friendships and confidence. Operation: SPIRIT can help you join or start your own Small Group.

Stay equipped when it comes to parenting! Connecting: Our Quarterly Newsletter helps parents stay current on issues and hot topics our teens face throughout the school year. In addition, our list of helpful resources available in our library addresses specific topics and general parenting issues.

Operation: SPIRIT is ready to help you become, and remain, fully engaged as we raise the greatest generation of teens in history! Our SPIRIT Events are opportunities to spend time with your teen in a fun and safe environment. These events are designed by both our teens and parents, ensuring a great experience for both generations.

OUR OFFICIAL MISSION STATEMENT

Operation: SPIRIT is a non-profit independent organization dedicated to all parents and caregivers of teenagers without regard to race, religion or ethnic origin, offering encouragement and educational resources for the purpose of helping families grow together. We strive to meet this goal through the implementation of six strategies, which include our Publications, Spirit Events, Speaker Events, Small Groups, our Parent Resource Center and this website.
