SUGGESTIONS FOR PARENTS

Talk to your teen about the Choking Game
and the dangers. Remind your teen that a real friend would never ask them to do something that would harm their brain or body.

Educate other parents. Monitor situations when your son or daughter is alone with others (sleep overs, outdoor activities, etc.) Check that siblings are not involved in this activity. Consider alerting your teen's friends' parents to this danger.
